Introduction to Rowing
Come learn to row with B-CC’s medal-winning crew team. No experience is necessary – just the desire to row hard, have fun and meet new friends. Some of the benefits of crew are:
- Teamwork – success in crew is measured by the ability of everyone to “pull” together.
- Co-ed, non-contact sport with excellent all-round strength and conditioning throughout the school year.
- Students develop confidence, discipline and time management skills.
- Students of all sizes can participate.
- Work with great coaches.
- During the spring season the team competes in locations including Georgetown, Baltimore, Delaware, Philadelphia and the Occoquan Reservoir.
The Introduction to Rowing Program is not a prerequisite to and does not guarantee a position on the B-CC Varsity Crew.
